Recycling process

The diagrams show the way storages, such as bottles, are produced and converted into another product.
Overall, the process consists of nine stages which then separated into two parts. It consists of four stages of glass production, beginning with the materials mixing and ending up with the finished product. And it consists of five stages of glass recycling, starting with collecting the used glass, and ending up with moulding it into a recycled product.
First of all, the sand, soda ash, limestone, and other chemicals are mixed. Then, the mixed materials undergo the melting process in the glass furnace where they are heated to a temperature around 1500 oC. Before the storages are finished and ready for use, the molten glasses are blown to a specific shape.
In the second part, the used glasses are collected. Then they are sorted based on their colour. After that, the sorted glasses are washed to remove their impurities. Following this, the glasses are then melted and crushed. Finally, the glasses are moulded into a new product.
